In order to complete Sarga Bodywork certification, you must successfully complete the following steps:
- Complete Sarga Bodywork Beginner (Sarga 101).
- Complete the course quizz(es) in the online manual with a grade of 80% or better.
- Purchase Sarga Bodywork Certification at the bottom of this page.
- Complete 20 practice sessions on at least 8 different individuals and submit 20 Practitioner Feedback Forms for review (the downloadable form is available with Sarga Bodywork Evaluations).
- Provide proof of massage licensure in the state/country where you practice (if applicable).
- Complete a 1-hour live online evaluation with a Sarga Bodywork instructor in which you will be expected to demonstrate core techniques outlined in Sarga 101 (evaluations can be performed on either a floor-based table or a raised massage table).
Upon successful completion of the certification steps, you will receive the following:
- Ability to use CERTIFIED SARGA BODYWORK PRACTITIONER® to promote the Sarga Bodywork treatments and techniques that you offer in your manual therapy practice.
- A certificate signed by Sarga Bodywork founder, Jivatma Massaguer that states you are a CERTIFIED SARGA BODYWORK PRACTITIONER®.
- Listing in the Sarga Bodywork Practitioner Directory.
- Sarga Bodywork logos and stock imagery that you are welcome to use on your marketing and informational media (social media platforms, promotional print materials, etc.).

Do I have to complete Sarga Bodywork Beginner (Sarga 101) before my evaluation?
Yes, you must complete Sarga 101 (in‑person, online guided, or online self‑paced) and pass the course quizzes with a minimum score of 80% before scheduling your evaluation.
Are there practice requirements before I can be evaluated and certified?

Do I need to be a licensed massage therapist to be certified?

You will need either a floor-based table setup or a raised massage table, a suitable client to work on, your Sarga strap system, and a stable internet connection with video capability for the live online session.

SARGA, SARGA BODYWORK, SARGARX, and MYO.RUB are trademarked names which are legally associated with the products, services, and methods provided by this business. Practitioners may only use the name Sarga® or Sarga Bodywork™ on marketing media once he/she has been certified as a Certified Sarga Bodywork Practitioner® in the proprietary methodology of Sarga Bodywork. Doing so without Sarga Bodywork certification is a legal infringement. In addition, proprietary Sarga Bodywork equipment is exclusively available to practitioners who have completed our introductory in-person course or who have enrolled in our online courses, which review the proper installation and use of this equipment.
Other businesses and organizations may not use our proprietary equipment, or similar permutations, to teach massage technique. Our files with the US Patent and Trademark office (US10959897, US 11612542 and US11737940) encompass equipment used for foot-based massage methods that is comprised of a piece of fabric or strap attached to a massage table and used by a practitioner both for support, and to deliver therapeutic force to the receiving client.
